"...the blessedness of being little."
by Shakespeare
Annie is our miracle baby. She was born 7 1/2 weeks early and spent several weeks in the NICU. She was 4 pounds (chunky for a preemie) and had platinum blonde hair. When we left the NICU, the doctor told us that premature babies are either lions or lambs. Annie is definitely a lamb. She is quiet and shy. She is often scared to try new things, but then loves telling her daddy about how she "did it!" She is very sensitive and loves to cuddle. She brightens my days and nights. She loves to dress-up, paint nails, skip, pick flowers, giggle, shop, eat chocolate, and take walks. She smiles more than any child I know. Annie is happy with the simple things in life (which reminds me that I should be, too). We love to hear her laugh and sing. She is a daddy's girl. She loves sitting in Mack's lap and listening to him read to her. Annie is our sunshine.

Blue-Eyed Boy

Watching this little one grow has been so much fun! He loves to to laugh, run, play, read, hug, sing, entertain, build, create, and so much more. He never meets a stranger and enjoys lizards and bugs. He is very smart and wants to be a professional golfer when he grows up. There isn't a day that goes by that he doesn't make us smile. We are very proud of him and all of his accomplishments so far (ex. making a perfect score on the reading section of the CRCT!). Max has a very big heart and will be more than happy to give you the shirt off his back. He takes after his father in regards to money. He is a saver. He keeps every dime that he earns and counts his money at least twice a week. However, he is always willing for me to purchase things for him! His plans for this summer include swimming, reading, going to the beach, and learning how to multiply. I plan on being there with him for every minute of it!

Where Do I Begin?

I have been tossing around the idea of starting a blog. Now that school is out, I have decided to give it a try. So, where do I begin?

Mack and I have been married for 10 years. We have three little pumpkins that we love with every inch of our beings.

Max is 7 years old and just finished first grade. He is funny, smart, inquisitive, tall, caring, wild, artisitic, and HAPPY.

Annie is 4 years old and will start Pre-K in the fall. She is loving, optimistic, dainty, prissy, motherly, and innocent (most of the time).

Charlie is, well, a mess! He is compassionate, energized, fearless, social, cuddly, and BUSY!

These little ones keep me very busy. I love how they each have their own little personality!
